At the December 1st city council meeting, I was one of 7 citizens of Harrison appointed to the Charter Review Commission by the mayor and the members of council. Harrison’s charter is essentially a constitution for the city. The charter calls for a review every 5 years to make sure it’s still correct and relevant.
I’m looking forward to working with the rest of the commission to make sure Harrison has a charter that serves its needs. The charter can be a bit difficult to find on the city’s website but you can find a copy of the city’s charter at https://codelibrary.amlegal.com/codes/harrison/latest/harrison_oh/0-0-0-19760.
