What a wonderful resource our library is! It’s an entertainment source (have you browsed the DVD collection?!), a source for information and education, and even a community gathering spot (every time I go there there’s a group doing crochet, quilting or practicing some hobby).
A few years ago I started reading, something I hadn’t done regularly since I was in school. Though I’ve picked up a little bit of fiction, most of my reading falls into the business, leadership and personal development categories. Sometimes a book just isn’t doing it for me – I’ve had to teach myself to cut bait on those. Other times I find a fantastic book filled with ideas that change my perspective.
Here are a few of my favorites:
- The Ideal Team Player by Patrick Lencioni
- The Go-Giver by Bob Burg
- Entreleadership by Dave Ramsey
- Tribes by Seth Godin
- Blink by Malcolm Gladwell
You can find my full reading list here.

PS – If you’re ever looking for good fiction, pick up the Ian Fleming Bond novels starting with Casino Royale!
